I chose this hotel for attending a forum as it was conveniently located within 10 km of Winter Gardens Conference Centre and Blackpool Tower. The host was very welcoming and the facilities such as heating, WiFi, and amenities were easy to use. The welcome pack of essential food items was a nice touch, and the space was ample and quiet.
The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated workspace or a business center.

the bungalow was cozy and had a homely feel. It was well-equipped with everything I usually forget to pack, like tin foil and pepper. the kitchen had all the necessary items and we were welcomed with a lovely hamper. the heating was on when we arrived, making it warm and comfortable. the Christmas tree in the corner added a festive touch. the bedrooms were a good size and the layout was great. the location was convenient, with just a short drive to the seafront.
Absolutely nothing!

The host was welcoming and helpful, making our check-in process a breeze. The facilities were easy to use, with functioning heating and WiFi. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack of essential food items. The location was convenient, with a local newsagent just 200m away and close proximity to popular tourist attractions.
Our stay was marred by ongoing building work in the garden, which made it inaccessible and created a mess. We were not informed about this prior to our arrival.

The room at Coleridge Lodge was absolutely cozy and inviting. It felt like a home away from home, with its warm and comfortable furnishings. I just loved how it made me feel relaxed and at ease as soon as I stepped inside.
Personally, I would have preferred if the bathroom had a bathtub instead of just a shower.

Loved the complimentary WiFi, perfect for scrolling through social media and avoiding conversation. Private parking was a godsend, I didn't have to park near other people. And the on-site terrace was great for pretending to enjoy the outdoors while staying indoors.
Couldn't find a TV in the bedroom, how am I supposed to survive without constantly staring at a screen? Ugh.

I always return to my favorite place in Thornton. From my first stay, they helped me with money advice. The Lodge has everything I need: Wi-Fi, TV, cot. There's an off-site car park and it's wheelchair accessible. No pets or smoking. Can't wait to go back for my holiday!

The hotel was beautifully decorated, with a homely and cosy feel. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the attention to detail in the decoration of the hotel's general areas. It felt comfortable and welcoming, just like being in my own home. , the hotel had excellent accessibility for senior people, with everything conveniently located and easy to navigate.
I would have liked more assistance from the staff in terms of providing extra support for senior guests. Perhaps some additional services or amenities specifically tailored for older individuals would have made the vacation even better for us.
